Our mission is to provide small business owners with the simplest accounting software on the planet that empowers them to do their own bookkeeping and build a successful business.
Hello and thanks for visiting,
'Cashflow Manager' is a business committed to simplifying the accounting process for self employed small business owners and was started in 1990 by an Australian accountant Wayne Burgan before being introduced into the UK in 1994 and North America soon after.
Ever since, 'Cashflow Manager' has been the favoured bookkeeping system for thousands of small business owners for one basic reason ... it is designed with the goal of being the easiest accounting software on the planet.
It is designed so you do not need to be an accounting professional, or even know anything about accounting or computers to benefit from its many time-saving features. It is easy, instinctive and maintains accurate bookkeeping records that will stand up to even the most strict audits.
Having started his first business at 14, a guitar school where he taught his fellow schoolmates, Wayne has always had a passion for business. When he finished school Wayne began to study for an accountancy degree at university, and also commenced working with the Australian Taxation Office.
As a tax inspector, Wayne saw firsthand lots of issues that occurred for small business owners just because they did not maintain good financial records. He became extremely frustrated and upset as he saw many good people struggle with their businesses as a result of inadequate record keeping when they easily could have flourished.
He left the ATO and began an accounting practice with the aim of helping small business owners. He promptly discovered that not understanding the accounting side was often the cause of the most significant problems encountered by many small business owners.
So he created an easy, step-by-step bookkeeping system in order to help his small business clients keep their records, and that was the birth of Cashflow Manager.
Not long after Cashflow Manager was released in the UK, Lloyds Bank began offering the manual version to their local business customers.
The software version was launched} in 1998 and this adheres to the exact same, easy methodology that made the hand-written system so effective.
The cloud version of 'Cashflow Manager' that enables small business owners to do their bookkeeping online instead of installing the software application onto their own computer. Once again'Cashflow Manager Cloud' uses the same 'column' technique that made the manual and PC versions so easy to use.
Whether you use the hand-written system, the computer software program or the 'Cashflow Manager Cloud' online version, the unique 'column' approach used by 'Cashflow Manager' will help you maintain excellent records for your business whether or not you have any understaning of accounting.
Whichever alternative you choose, we trust that you will discover it to be the easiest way to keep your small business financial records.
